Municipal Services
The Village of Benito employs two full time people in it's public works department. They are responsible for maintenance of the town's water system including both drinking water and sewage systems. The town provides garbage pickup to residents once a week and to businesses twice a week. The Public Works department is also responsible for street sweeping in the summer and snow removal in the winter. The pride of the department are the Benito balls diamonds which are rumoured to be the nicest in the valley after Swan River's. For the last number of years the village has employed two summer students to help with the duties in the public works department. Shown in these pictures are the public works department performing summer grass cliping, sidewalk construction and fall cleanup of fallen tree limbs.
Natural Gas is currently available in the valley.
Hydro is available at all locations in the village.
